Organic Rose Hip (Rose Eglanteria) oil
Rose Hip oil is extracted from the seeds of the intense, red coloured fruits of the wild rose-bush, which is indigenous to parts of the ukhahlamba (maluti/drakensburg) Highlands. This nourishing oil is known for its tissue regenerating properties and is ideal for dry and damaged skin due to its high vitamin A and essential fatty acid content. It is also used to treat scarring, and to reduce wrinkles and signs of premature ageing, particularly as a result of sun damage.
Directions for use:
Carrier oils are generally cold pressed vegetable oils. In aromatherapy these oils are used as a base into which the highly concentrated essential oils are diluted. Each carrier oil has its own unique properties which have many benefits in aromatherapy. Blended with essential oils, or on their own, these oils can be used for massage or as bath oils.
