Solal Enzyme Prebiotic Probiotic
Contains a blend of digestive enzymes, probiotic beneficial bacteria (Lactobacillus sporogenes) and soluble fibre. Promotes healthy digestion and intestinal function, enhances food digestion, nutrient absorption and reduces gastro-intestinal problems such as indigestion, flatulence, irritable bowel syndrome, cramps and diarrhoea. Also opposes the growth of pathogenic bacteria and yeasts (e.g. Candida), thereby helping to prevent leaky gut syndrome and associated immune system complaints, such as infections, allergies and inflammatory states.
Per daily dose (3 Capsules):
Lactobacillus sporogenes 1.2 bill cfu (200mg L.s powder) -acid and temp stable - enhances nutrient absorbtion, competitively inhibits opportunistig growth infections (eg Candida) and prevents indigestion and flatulence.Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are utilized by and stimulate the production of Lactobacillus bacteria (supplemental FOS can increase the number of Lactobacillus bacteria by up to ten-fold).
Probiotics, or beneficial bacteria, such as Lactobacillus (eg Lactobacillus sporogenes, occur naturally in the gut and aid in digestion by supporting intestinal function. These friendly flora are sometimes destroyed by antibiotics and foods containing chemicals and pesticides. Supplementing the diet with probiotics can keep the counts of these bacteria high.
Prebiotics are essential fibres that the intestinal flora require as food. These fibres also act as an intestinal sweep to clear the gut of undigested food and toxins.

Supplemental pancreatic, plant, and microbial enzymes are all designed to enhance digestion. However, plant and microbial enzymes use a "proactive" approach and begin working on foods sooner after ingestion. Pancreatic enzymes usually begin working approximately 30 minutes after food reaches the stomach. Because of their stability in the acidic environment of the upper stomach, plant and microbial enzymes can begin their digestive action immediately after the food reaches this region. With the increased exposure to digestive enzyme activity, food has a better chance of being broken down into small, more readily absorbed particles.
