Mastic gum is an extract from the Pistacia tree. It kills Candida albicans fungus (thrush infections), Helicobacter pylori bacteria (implicated in peptic and other ulcers), and may help reduce the risk of stomach cancer. Mastic gum is useful for intestinal cramps, indigestion and heartburn. It also counteracts damage to the gastric mucosa caused by aspirin and other Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs).
COMPOSITION
Each capsule contains:
Mastic Gum 333mg
Inactive ingredients: Hypromellose (cellulose) vegetarian capsule shell (gelatin free), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate (vegetarian – flow agent), magnesium silicate, silicon dioxide and colloidal silicon dioxide.
Contains no colourants, preservatives, lactose, gluten, yeast, starch or artificial fillers. Contains plant extracts and natural fillers, with no colourants added – therefore the colour of the capsule contents may vary slightly from batch to batch.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Adults and children over 12 years of age: Take 1-2 capsules three times daily, or as advised by your healthcare provider. For the eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection, mastic gum should be used for at least 4 weeks continuously. It is also helpful to continue with a lower preventative dosage of one capsule twice daily on an ongoing basis.

There are no known side-effects. Safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established, do not use. Store in a cool dry place, out of the reach of children. Do not exceed recommended doses unless on the advice of a healthcare provider.
