Solgar Dong Quai Extract
Dong Quai is a herb used mostly as a supplement to help balance the female hormonal system. It is considered an analgesic, anti-inflammatory, uterine tonic, and anti-spasmodic, and thus may have potential applications for women with painful or irregular periods.
Each Solgar Dong Quai vegetable capsule provides:
Raw Dong Quai Root Powder200mg
Standardised Dong Quai Root Extract (2mg [1%] ligustilides)150mg
PhytO2X ä (powdered blend* of beta-carotene prep. and ascorbic acid)
PhytO2X ä is a special blend of natural antioxidants, the purpose of which is to maintain the freshness of the ingredients.
Encapsulated with natural ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable magnesium stearate.
Vegetable capsule shell: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose.
Directions for Use:
As a herbal food supplement for adults, 1-3 vegicaps daily of Solgar Dong Quai, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Store out of reach of young children. Food supplements must not be used as a substitute for a varied diet. Contra-indications
Do NOT use Dong Quai during pregnancy. Although rare, high doses may cause some women to experience abdominal bloating, diarrhoea or a change in the typical timing of menstruation and/or menstrual flow rate.
