Chromium Picolinate
Chromium is a naturally occurring mineral that has been linked to healthy insulin and blood sugar levels. It may also encourage muscle to fat ratios in the body, fight cholesterol, and sustain energy levels.
Each Solgar Chromium Picolinate 200ug vegetable capsule provides:
Chromium (picolinate) 200ug
In a natural base of:
microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, vegetable gum.
Vegetable capsule shell: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose.
Each
200ug of elemental chromium is from 1.6mg (1,600 ug) of Chromium
Tripicolinate, as Nutrition 21's Chromaxâ. Chromaxâ is a certified
biologically active form of chromium picolinate, a yeast-free source of
chromium.
Directions for use: As a food supplement for adults, one (1) to three (3) Solgar Chromium Picolinate 200ug capsules daily, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
Caution: Chromium can reduce the need for insulin,so diabetics should only take it under the supervision of a medical practitioner.
