Licorice has a long and varied record of uses. It was and remains one of the most important herbs in traditional Chinese medicine. These deglycyrrhizinated licorice (DGL) products cause fewer side-effects and are much safer for long-term use than glycyrrhizin-containing licorice, which may lead to hypertension.
Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice promotes healing of the gastrointestinal and stomach lining, and may help in cases where inflammation and ulcers are a problem.
An effective anti-ulcer compound, and inhibits H.Pylori.
Each vegetable capsule provides:Standardised Deglycyrrhised Licorice Root Powdered Extract (<2.5mg [<1%] glycyrrhizin) 250mg
Raw Licorice Root Powder 25mg
PhytO2X ä (powdered blend of beta-carotene prep. and ascorbic acid)
PhytO2X ä is a special blend of natural antioxidants, the purpose of which is to maintain the freshness of the ingredients.
Encapsulated with natural ingredients: magnesium stearate.
Vegetable capsule shell: hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose.
Directions for Use:As a herbal food supplement for adults, 1-3 vegicaps daily of deglycyrrhized liquorice, preferably at mealtime, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
