Vitamin D is a fat soluble nutrient that is best known for helping maintain calcium levels and bone health. Vitamin D can be manufactured by the skin in response to UVB rays from sunlight, however today people are cautioned away from sun exposure as it is a well known risk factor for developing skin cancer. Vegans are also at risk of Vitamin D deficiency, as they do not eat animal based foods, which are a major source of this vitamin.
Each softgel capsule provides:
Vitamin D (from fish liver oil 400 iu)
10 ug.
Encapsulated with these natural ingredients: safflower oil.
Softgel capsule shell: gelatine, glycerin.
SUGAR, SALT AND STARCH FREE.
Directions for use: As a food
supplement for adults, one (1) softgel capsule daily, preferably at
mealtime, or as directed by a health care practitioner
