HOMOEOPATHIC MODE OF ACTION:- Aconitum napellus acts to prevent acute conditions from progressing and has an anti-inflammatory action that assists in relief of fever and body pain associated with influenza.
- Antimonium tartaricum relieves excessive, rattling bronchial mucus with difficult expectoration, burning sensation in the lungs, free perspiration and fatigue.
- Atropa belladonna has an anti-inflammatory action on mucous membranes to relieve symptoms of influenza.
- Bryonia alba acts on mucous membranes to relieve dryness and tough mucus and to treat hoarseness, cough and body pain.
- Causticum has a decongestant action on the mucous membranes of the respiratory system associated with burning, raw pain, loss of voice, cough and generalised weakness.
- Eucalyptus globulus has a disinfectant action in the respiratory system and prevents the spread of airway infections while soothing the mucous membranes.
- Eupatorium perfoliatum acts on the bronchial mucous membranes to relieve free, watery, mucus discharge with sneezing, soreness in the chest, hoarseness and loose cough. It has fever-relieving properties associated with body pain.
- Ferrum phosphoricum has an anti-inflammatory action, prevents the development of acute febrile conditions and relieves hard, dry cough with a sore chest.
- Gelsemium sempervirens is indicated for a wide range of symptoms common in influenza including sneezing, burning nasal discharge, headache, fever, sore throat, loss of voice and dry cough.
- Glonoinum relieves congestive headaches and dizziness with influenza.
- Mercurius solubilis has a prophylactic action, preventing influenza from becoming severe. It relieves sneezing, acrid discharges and cough.
- Natrium nitricum has an anti-inflammatory action and treats influenza and exhaustion.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
10 drops directly on the tongue or diluted in a little water 3 times daily. May be taken one to two hourly in acute cases while symptoms are severe. Infants: Dilute with water and allow to stand for a short time before administering. Reduce dosage with improvement of symptoms.
