The Benefits of Green Vibrance During Pregnancy

“Is Green Vibrance safe to take during pregnancy?” Green Vibrance is not only safe, but wonderful for pregnancy and lactation. After 12 years on the market, there are now many Green Vibrance children walking the earth. There are specific nutrients in Green Vibrance that provide numerous benefits concerning pregnancy.

One major advantage lies in the astragalus and bio available sources of iron in Green Vibrance, which support healthy red blood cell production in pregnancy. This helps assure robust oxygen delivery to the developing brain of the baby, while guarding the mother against anaemia.

Additionally, policosanol enhances neurological development of the foetus. Grape seed, ginkgo, green tea, and milk thistle extracts along with vitamin E protect the mother against varicosities, and boron and calcium from hydrilla help protect and strengthen the mother’s bones.

Of course, Green Vibrance also provides superb trace nutrient density with protein growth factors that enhance the strength of both mother and developing child.

The probiotics in Green Vibrance are also beneficial during pregnancy. Not only will the potent dosage of probiotics improve nutrient delivery to the mother directly, and indirectly to the foetus, but they will also enrich the eventual inoculation of the baby’s gastrointestinal tract through the mother’s nursing. Probiotics also work in conjunction with beta-glucans and arabinogalactans in Green Vibrance to improve immune function for both the mother and baby.

UT Vibrance—Goldenseal, Parsley, and Pregnancy

"Can UT Vibrance safely be used during pregnancy? I am currently 3 1/2 months pregnant and I have a UTI. A friend recommended your product, but I'm concerned about its goldenseal and parsley content. I know these herbs are contraindicated during pregnancy. I will appreciate any information you can give me."

Parsley, although listed as an emmenagogue, should present no problem at the dosages found in UT Vibrance. In fact, it is such a nutrient dense food, that it would be healthy to consume in moderation. Golden Seal, on the other hand, does carry some risk, although the dosage in UT Vibrance should pose no problems in humans, including pregnant humans.

In studies of pregnant laboratory mice, neither mothers nor developing babies suffered major damage from very high doses of goldenseal given to the mothers. The general thinking among herbalists is: “Because goldenseal contains chemicals that may cause the muscles of the uterus to tighten, it could possibly cause a miscarriage if taken by a pregnant woman. Goldenseal is best avoided during pregnancy.” Unfortunately, such statements unaccompanied by a discussion of dosage are not very helpful.

However, I have never been able to uncover any solid evidence of danger. From "Healing the Family" by Joy Gardner, we read, "I have not recommended [goldenseal because it] is a very potent herb and not enough is known about it. However, what is known indicates that it should be used with great caution by everyone. It contains high concentrations of very potent alkaloids. It also contains berberine, an antibiotic which has broad-spectrum activity against bacteria and protozoa and it contains hydrastine, which causes uterine contractions if taken in large quantities."

And it contains hydrastine, which causes uterine contractions if taken in large quantities."

The key operative phrases are: “not enough is known about it” and “if taken in large quantities.” Medical herbalists books have almost no information concerning Goldenseal and pregnancy. I can only assume that if a pronounced and dangerous reaction to goldenseal in pregnant women were known, such information would appear in the German Monographs, the ESCOP Monographs, and books on Herbal Medicine.

Given the dearth of solid information, my recommendation would be to use UT Vibrance at half the daily dosage, giving you 10 grams of mannose each day, along with a serving of Green Vibrance, and two Cran-Max capsules, one in the morning and one in the evening. I also recommend that you consume at least 8 ounces daily of the strongest (tartest) plain yogurt you can find. Avoid wheat and grain-based foods as well as sweets during your treatment period.
