Natures Choice Essiac Formula (40g)

INGREDIENTS: Burdock Root, Sheep Sorrel, Turkey Rhubarb Root & Slippery Elm Bark.
DIRECTIONS: Bring 16 cups of water to boil. Add 1/2 cup of Essiac herbs. Stir and bring to boil. Cover and boil for 10-12 minutes. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand for a further 10-12 minutes. Stir well, cover and bring solution to scalding (do not boil). Remove from heat, cover and let settle for 20 minutes. Strain the liquid through a fine strainer or filter into clean, hot, sterilised jars and close the jars. Place filled jars in the refrigerator (do not freeze). Take four tablespoons of liquid twice a day at the following times – in the morning 5 minutes before breakfast, and at bedtime at least two hours after the evening meal (on an empty stomach).
The Essiac formula was discovered by a nurse called Rene Caisse (Essiac spelt backwards) in 1922 when she worked amongst the Ojibway Indians. In 1984, seven 2-hour TV programmes were produced in the USA covering every aspect of this remarkable formula.
