Uri-logic This herbal blend may support the urinary tract. A blend of the following herbal tinctures:Horsetail, Knotgrass, Ginkgo, Buchu and Cranberry These herbs may also have the following health applications:- HORSETAIL: An astringent healing herb that acts mainly on the genito-urinary system and controls both internal and external bleeding. It is recommended for children with bedwetting problems. Also for cystitis and urethritis as well as prostatis. Because it contains silica, it is also excellent as a skin and nail conditioner and as a rinse for hair conditioner. It should be restricted to short term use such as three months as it is also an irritant.
- KNOTGRASS: Incontinence, stone formation,weeping eczema, mucus & bloody discharge from urinary & reproductive organs, diarrhoea, dysentery.
- GINKGO: Memory and concentration, poor circulation, nerve tonic.
- BUCHU: A herb that stimulates and cleanses the urinary system and increases perspiration. The active ingredient is diospheno or barosma camphor which is a potent antiseptic and diuretic. It is used internally for urinary tract infections, especially prostatis and cystitis; digestive problems, gout, rheumatism, coughs, and colds. It is sometimes also included in weight loss formulas for excessive water retention problems.
